Today was current event Wednesday, and for the past 2 discussions we have been going over the Syrian refugee issue and before I get into it, I will warn you this is my personal opinion.
Most of you probably already know, considering how big the issue is and how bad Canada is looking right now. It kind of makes you stop and wonder if we are doing the right thing or if we should be doing a lot more.
Personally, I believe what we are doing is literally nothing and watching people die and lying about how we are trying to help. Canada is only going to let in .02% of the population in, and with such a struggle meaning they need too many papers and documents most of them don't have and can't get.
If you think about it, the contries that are crowded and have less income are accepting more which is crap! We have the money, we have the space, and we're doing nothing but making popcorn, sitting back and watching.
I just hope everything works out well and someone does something about the people risking/losing their lives getting out of a place they can't stay in.
